Job TitleBusiness Intelligence AnalystJob Description SummaryAs part of the Global Business Intelligence (BI) team, the Data Analyst is responsible for delivery of all data analytics and governance in support of the Cushman & Wakefield and a partnership with a large financial client.The responsibilities include data mapping, data assessments and analysis, data governance support, POC dashboard development, user acceptance testing, reporting support, opportunity assessments, tabular model support, workplace trend analysis, benchmarking analysis, and general product support for client’s BI platform.Job DescriptionAs part of the Global Business Intelligence (BI) team, the Data Analyst is responsible for delivery of all data analytics and governance in support of the Cushman & Wakefield and a partnership with a large financial client.The responsibilities include data mapping, data assessments and analysis, data governance support, POC dashboard development, user acceptance testing, reporting support, opportunity assessments, tabular model support, workplace trend analysis, benchmarking analysis, and general product support for client’s BI platform.Responsibilities:Support the client’s Workplace Team to build, implement, and support the BI platform and global data strategy initiatives.Support the Data Governance Lead on all data governance initiatives for the BI platform.Liaise with Product Owners and Data Governance Lead to ensure dashboard prototype design and build meets business requirements and aligns with the data and tabular model.Proactively analyze the client’s portfolio and provide support in identifying risks and opportunities.Lead data assessment exercises with new service lines while onboarding onto the BI platform.Lead data mapping exercises to support system integration projects.Drive continuous improvement in the automation and standardization of data requirements.Partner with the development team to expand the client’s BI product offering through dashboard POCs, tabular model measure development and product feature enhancements.Utilize advanced analytics tools such as Alteryx and AWS tools to transform data, automate workflows and develop analytical tools.Work effectively with all areas of the business to identify required dashboard visualizations and associated calculations to build dashboards.Technical documentation and process documentation as required for activities within the data workstreamProvide guidance and training to the account team employees on C&W’s BI platform.Support custom reporting requestsProvide both verbal and written updates to management on the progress of work.Liaise with service line leadership to extract data from point applications for uploading into the BI platform.Promote effective and consistent communication – both within your team and cross-departmental.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or TechnologyExperience in AWS is preferredExperience in business analytics or data visualization software TableauExperience also in Power BI is preferredExperience in sharepointExperience in data mapping and modellingExperience in SQL is preferredExperience in ETL tool such as Alteryx or Python is a plusExperience in being part of a software product team or BI product team is a plusExperience handling commercial real estate data is a plusThis position requires that the employee perform services for a customer at a customer facility.
