Early Careers Recruitment Administrator - 6-month FTC: £25,000 to £30,000 (pro rata) for YorkIf you are excellent at organising, coordinating, and completing administrative tasks within fast-paced project-based environment, then we would love to hear from you in connection to an exciting contract role we have, which will start in January / February 2023. This role would also be a fantastic opportunity for someone who has an interest in gaining experience in the Early Careers and/or Recruitment space too!This role will be offered 6-month FTC basis - therefore please only apply if you are readily available to start a new role in the new year.A bit about the job:The Early Careers Resourcing Team is a specialist team within the central Aviva recruitment function, that focuses specifically on attracting talent to our graduate, apprentice, intern, and placement year programmes.In the role of Early Careers Recruitment Administrator, you will play an instrumental part in ensuring that the assessment process runs smoothly - including sending out and cross-refencing hundreds of invites to our chosen assessors, chasing invite approvals, updating large volumes of data in our assessment spreadsheets, and creating / setting up correct virtual assessment links. You will ensure attention to detail with every task you complete - ensuring circa 900 virtual assessments take place without error during your 6 months with us.Aviva introduced "smart-working" in 2020 and encourage flexible working; however, the successful post-holder will need to be based a commutable distance from our York offices.Skills and experience were looking for:

  • Proven experience undertaking an administrative / project- coordination role, where precision and attention to detail has been paramount
  • Confident with Microsoft Excel & Teams, and other administrative tools, to ensure multiple tasks are completed to a high standard and without error
  • Proven capability of working to set processes and to set timeframes, managing a high workload successfully
  • Extensive experience operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident in communicating with internal colleagues in a professional manner
