Job Description

Our CompanyFruitman Kates was founded over fifty years ago by the two partners after whom our firm is named. Both Chartered Accountants, Martin Fruitman and Henry Kates envisioned an Accounting Firm that would be dedicated to Excellence, Superior Service and would meet the diverse needs of their clients. Fruitman Kates is a mid-sized Chartered Professional Accounting firm dedicated to serving individuals and privately owned businesses. Based in Toronto, our team is comprised of seasoned chartered professional accountants and financial professionals who offer a wide range of services to our clients.The Role

  • Provide exceptional customer service to valued customers by responding to customer inquiries both on the phone and via email
  • Purchasing (inclusive of the ordering of office materials)
  • Payroll Processing and maintenance of employee files and records
  • Ensuring that office equipment/technology is maintained in working order (acts as point of contact with vendors)
  • Assist in planning internal and external meetings/events
  • Scheduling & Billing
  • Administrative tasks such as applications, insurance forms, running reports, invoicing, eblasts, newsletters, managing email lists, managing insurance benefits
  • Other administrative tasks as required
  • Liaise with IT during the Onboarding and Off-boarding phases of New Hires and Exiting Employees
Requirements
  • College diploma in business administration or a related discipline preferred, or substitute of relevant work experience
  • Ability to work independently, accurate computer data input and record keeping
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently
  • Proven ability to respond to changing priorities
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Advanced project management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; dealing tactfully with employees, visitors and customers
  • Superior organizational and prioritizing skills required, working towards key deadlines and timelines
  • Excellent multitasking skills with attention to detail
  • Discretion with confidential information
Job Type: Full-timeSchedule:
  • Monday to Friday

  • York, ON M6C 2C9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
