Pricing AnalystSalary £25,000 - £30,000Are you currently a Pricing Analyst or a graduate keen to start/progress with your careerThis is a perfect opportunity to gain hands-on experience of actuarial work, the individual annuity market and to be a part of a dynamic team. You will be provided with the opportunity, to work closely with all areas of the annuity business (Propositions, IT, Operations, Distribution, Finance and Risk), to assist in optimising trading performance. Your work would feed into key commercial decision-making and so have visibility to senior management within this business.A bit about the job:The team specialises in pricing individual annuity products and we are aiming to improve our pricing strategy through the use of data analytics. As the Pricing Analyst, you will optimise annuity prices to outperform the competition in the individual annuity market and striving to exceed corporate plan targets and maintain and develop Avivas annuity rate calculation systems (to make implementation of new rates easier and faster). Along with developing, enhancing and maintaining existing pricing models, assumptions and tools, ensuring they stay fit for purpose and in line with Aviva Group policies and standards.Skills and experience were looking for:
