Job Description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to help our Hamburg based team in further scaling development and operations.Our product runs in Kubernetes on Google Compute Platform. We embrace infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm. We do continuous integration and continuous deployments using Kubernetes and Gitlab CI. Our apps use JVM/Scala, Python and Node/TypeScript. Our data is stored in MongoDB. We collect comprehensive insights about our systems using Prometheus/Grafana, Jaeger/Opentracing and Kibana.The companyRisk42 is a passionate software development company based in Hamburg, Germany. The company was founded in 2018 and is funded by Check24 Ventures and Cinco Capital.Due to the increasing pace in digitalisation of banks and financial institutions, an adjustable and precise risk management in the domain of credit scoring and fraud prevention has never been more important than today. That’s why we’re building a real-time risk assessment platform which uses machine learning to predict these risks.Our team consists of experienced Software Developers, DevOps, Data Scientists and Industry Experts which are curious and like to learn something new every day. We favour an open and friendly work environment and a dynamic, creative team - focussed on solving our customers’ problems.Your responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain and evolve our infrastructure stack.
  • Work closely with our development team.
  • Support the technical integration team with setting up and maintaining our customers’ environments.
  • Monitor our customer-facing systems and handle incidents together with our development team.
