Job Requisition ID #23WD73739Position OverviewAs an AI research intern for Mediaamp; Entertainment (M amp;E) within Autodesk Research, you will investigate the latest AI technologies to assist different types of content creators, including filmmakers, animators, visual artists, game designer, and youtubers. Over the course of the internship, you will help us lead the project forward with guidance from our team of HCI researchers, engineers, and M amp;E domain experts.Responsibilities- Perform applied research to investigate potential of several AI techniques for M amp;E industry, including machine learning/deep neural networks, evolutionary algorithms, optimizations, and symbolic reasoning- Review relevant literature to identify emerging methods, technologies, and best practices- Gather requirements and issues to explore and design- Design and implement AI algorithms- Develop prototypes for experimental M amp;E applications- Validate prototypes with data analysis or user studiesMinimum Qualifications- Full-time student pursuing a Masters or Ph.D. in a field related to AI such as: Computer Science, Computational Design, Computer Graphics, Data Science, or Human-Computer Interaction- Demonstrated expertise with peer-reviewed publications in international venues- Solid background in machine learning and statistical methods- Proficient in Python and either TensorFlow or PyTorch- Experience in quick prototyping and scientific research methodsAbout the Canada Intern ProgramThe 2024 Canada program runs for 16 weeks (Jan 8th to April 26th for Winter Term and May 6th to August 23rd for Summer Term).
