UHN Dataamp; Analytics supports UHN in data-driven decisions, data literacy, performance improvement, data governance, analytics, and automation as well as advances these capabilities through collaboration across the organization.Position SummaryThe Project Manager Cogito Reporting is a critical role within the Enterprise Data Operations department reporting to the Senior Manager, Cogito Reporting. In this role, the Project Lead will play a pivotal role in developing and managing the Cogito roadmap for capital and operational projects including project plans, status reports and overseeing the project lifecycle. The Project Lead will aid in Cogito Data Governance activities including supporting the Data and Analytics Operations Council, Cogito Community of Practice and maintaining the technical aspects of the UHN Data Portal. This role may also support special projects and operational planning within the Enterprise Data Operations department. The candidate for this role will possess a diverse skill set including leadership, project management, operation coordination, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a background in Dataamp; Analytics within a hospital environment.Duties- Support Sr. Manager to plan, develop and coordinate assigned projects- Support Dataamp; Analytics Operations Council, Cogito demand management, and all special projects assigned- Assist Sr. Manager to support the new governance processes and the operational roadmap to stabilize the Cogito tool suite- Analyze projects for needs assessment, system selection and/or process reengineering- Assist with system workflow issues and provides guidance and expertise in implementing changes requested by the business- Prepare Cogito project status reports as required and support Sr. Manager to facilitate Cogito related projects on the roadmap- Provide support to Sr. Manager for working groups and committee related tasks- Participates in roadmap planning with Sr. Manager for Cogito-related projects or other special projects in conjunction with business users and vendors- Builds/creates training material or other documents with Sr. Manager to improve application support- Provide customer service in the form of end user meetings (clinical or business) attend and/or facilitate monthly established end user meetings or ad hoc meetings- Document system problems and resolutions and project status for future reference- Performs cross functional duties, as assigned or requested- Lead/facilitate Epic reporting content requirements gathering sessions with report consumers/stakeholders and clinical/business application analysts- Evaluate overall consumer satisfaction with Epic reports developed and distributed- Assist with Sr. Manager on the development of training curriculum for training of Reporting Power Users- Resolve Epic reporting content and user access issuesQualifications- Undergraduate Degree required in Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Informatics or related field- Graduate Degree preferred in Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Informatics or related field- A minimum of 3-5 years of project management experiences in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics reporting related projects- Certified as Project Management Professional (PMP) is required- Knowledge of healthcare data sources and standards is preferred- Familiarity with Epic applications and database structure, preferred- Knowledge of clinical and business workflows and financial reporting requirements in a Canadian healthcare setting preferred- Certification in Epic Cogito preferred- Experience in dataamp; analytics within a health care environment strongly preferred.- Extensive knowledge with business systems analysis and problem resolution- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders- Strong project management skill- Strong analytical and problem-solving skill- Ability to work collaboratively with other teams within the company- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Why join UHNIn addition to working alongside some of the most talented and inspiring healthcare professionals in the world, UHN offers a wide range of benefits, programs and perks.
