This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate, looking to gain experience in the field.This can be a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and/or from our Toronto offices.Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.Aon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.What the day will look likeOur successful candidate will participate in the establishment of assumptions for actuarial valuations specific to post-retirement and employment insurance plans (commonly calledquot;Other post-employment benefits quot; orquot;OPEB quot;) for Canada.You will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of OPEB-specific actuarial valuations for a group of clients in Canada including:- data reconciliation, benefit calculations, gains and losses reconciliation.- preparation of disclosures and accounting reports following Canadian, American, and international accounting standards- Assisting consultants to help our clients with day-to-day issues and questions.How this opportunity is differentOur highly collaborative team is empowered to drive innovation through the development of actuarial tools to improve efficiency.We offer opportunities for continuous learning including participating in internal seminars regarding current industry issues and technical training. You will have the ability to work closely with and to learn from experts in the industry.Skills and experience that will lead to successIf this role appeals to you but you don #39;t meet all the requirements listed below, please do express your interest.
