We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service and a family-oriented work environment.Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Service Writer to join our dynamic team. The Service Writer will act as a liaison between customers and our technical service team, ensuring smooth service operations and exceptional customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Greet customers and provide outstanding service both in-person and over the phone.
  • Service Documentation: Accurately document customer concerns and service requests.
  • Work Orders: Create detailed service orders and work orders based on customer descriptions and technician assessments.
  • Scheduling: Schedule service appointments and coordinate with the technical service team to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Communication: Communicate service updates and job status to customers in a clear and professional manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all service transactions, including customer interactions and work performed.
  • Payment Processing: Assist in processing payments and handling billing inquiries.
  • Environment Maintenance: Ensure a clean and organized work environment, including the service counter and customer waiting area.
  • Additional Tasks: Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in customer service, business administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a technical service or retail environment.
  • Skills: Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with service management software.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Multitasking: Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Attitude: A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
