Job Description

JB Plumbing and Heating is looking for a Junior Mechanical Estimator to join our fast-growing team in and around the Winnipeg area.JB Plumbing and Heating is a passionate group of plumbing and mechanical professionals. Duties will include(all tasks performed under senior estimator):
  • Examination of tender/bid documents and preparation of detailed Plumbing/HVAC/Mechanical labour and material estimates.
  • Review contract documents including general conditions, tender form, drawings, and required price breakdowns
  • Review and execution of Change Orders, RFI’s, and RFA’s.
  • Coordination, document control and organization of such
  • Collaboration with the Project Managers, Procurement and Management
  • Use and the ability to use management and estimating software.

You work well individually as well as part of the team.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $37,119.00-$88,338.00 per yearSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
Experience:
  • Estimating: 1 year (preferred)
