Job Description

Availability: Co-op Term starting in January, 8 months preferredAre you ready to take the next step in your Career We have an upcoming opportunity in the Research and Development Department as an R&D Technician.Your core mission in this role is to assist the R&D team with product development projects and assignments. You’ll collaborate effectively with other team members – both R&D and Cross-Functional - to solve critical problems throughout the product development process.In This Role You Will

  • Assisting with design, fabrication and assembly of concepts and prototypes
  • Testing prototypes to verify product reliability and make adjustments as required
  • Designing and fabricating jigs and fixtures for testing and replicating various field conditions
  • Participate in product development projects, which include researching and developing ideas for new and current existing products
We’re Looking For
  • Experience in fabricating, welding and repair of machinery
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and sketches
  • Passion and ability for problem solving and decision making
  • Must be a self-starter and work well with minimal supervision
