Harvest after harvest, our mission is to produce world-class farm equipment for the needs of the progressive farmer.Were excited about the innovation required to aid in the production of the crop’s farmers grow to feed the world, and we currently have an open opportunity for you as a Purchasing & Logistics Lead.In this role you will be responsible for providing direction to the purchasing and logistics team by leading by example.Your Key Responsibilities· Lead the Purchasing and Logistics team.· Manage purchasing requests and collaborate with other departments.· Provide guidance to buyers to achieve goals in accordance with established policies, cost, and schedule guidelines and ensure work is done accurately and with the highest level of service.· Timely delivery solutions and logistics direction. (On Time delivery)· Negotiate, review and purchase items within price goal. (On cost delivery)· Mitigate price increases by thorough understanding of benchmarking data and key measures for cost drivers.· Monitor and report on measures of performance.· Identify and implement cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives.We’re Looking For· Someone who is energized by growth, change, and the opportunity to impact big picture results.· A persistent negotiator who leaves no stone unturned.· Exceptional intuition, decisiveness, and drive.· Attention to detail and willingness to go an extra mile for best customer experience.· MS Office proficiency, particularly MS Excel.· ERP knowledge is an asset, training will be provided.· A minimum of 3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.· All levels of education will be considered.Our facility is conveniently situated near Altona, MB - 36km east of Winkler, and only 100km south of Winnipeg.
