Job Description

ARCHMILL HOUSE is a leading custom manufacturer of high-end architectural millwork and premium store fixtures serving commercial, institutional and retail markets. Archmill has worked tirelessly to build a reputation as the most respected and trusted millwork companies in Canada, possessing the experience and resources to meet any challenge. Our primary focus is on market segments where quality custom architectural millwork matters.We’re looking for a quality focused and detailed oriented person to join our Corian Department. Working in a collaborative environment, the Finisher is responsible for polishing and sanding Solid Surface counters and other products.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Making QUALITY job #1
  • Team work, learning and teaching everyday
  • Keep a positive can-do attitude, always bring solutions to the table with the challenges
  • Receive and give constructive feedback
  • Using equipment like hand sanders (multiple types), trimmers and saws. Maintain all company provided tools and equipment
  • Report out daily log of tasks on Timesheets for how much time spent per job on each operation
  • Use of proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times (we are committed to you going back to your loved ones every night)
  • Perform other related duties, including minor duties of other trades where certification is not required, and the work does not exceed own limitations
  • Maintain a clean working area free from sawdust and debris between tasks and at end of day
  • Always completing tasks 100%, flagging things with supervisors and managers to make sure things are completed
