Job Description

Candispro is looking for an Operations Associate to support our CEO and management team. We are looking for someone who is well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task with great follow-up skills. In this role you will have an opportunity to have an impact over a wide range of departments and experience the different aspects of the business.What you’ll do:

  • Working with management on various projects
  • Checking accounts payables and receivables and coordinating vendor payments weekly
  • Collaborating with the warehouse staff to keep track of inventory counts, outgoing shipments and day to day operations
  • Contributing to event planning including, trade shows, travel arrangements, local events
  • Following HACCP record keeping requirements biweekly
  • Account management, which will include
  • Answering the phones and taking orders from customers
  • Weekly follow ups with customers on product promotions along with stock needs
  • Sending information on new products and gauging interest on potential Spanish products of interest
  • Providing monthly breakdowns of high sellers/products
Office Operations including,
  • Utilities (internet, hydro, heating, phone plan, etc) - you will ensure operational, troubleshooting and supporting as needed.
  • Insurance - you will managing our building insurance policies, renewals and requirements
  • Supplies - you will be responsible for maintaining supplies for our office including ordering hardware, printer supplies, food and beverage, office furniture, etc.
  • Deliveries - you will ensure proper planning, management and organization of all outbound and inbound deliveries
  • Health & Safety - ensuring we are maintaining operational standards on a quarterly basis
Experience you’ll bring:
  • 4+ years experience in similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities, administrative coordination, and logistics
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Fishbowl inventory and Quickbooks accounting an asset
  • Strong ability to problem solve and work independently
  • Experience managing projects from start to finish
