Job Description

We are growing strong with a team that is proudly committed to creating the world’s best certified-organic cannabis.We are currently recruiting for full time Packaging Associate at our Ancaster, Ontario facility.Packaging Associates are responsible for cleaning, loading, and weighing materials and ensuring labels are created. The incumbent also performs final checks for defective items, ensure all working items make it to the loading area or inventory, and keep detailed records of materials and shipments.Work Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PMDuties and Responsibilities

  • Weigh and package products according to SOPs, ensuring accurate weights and record keeping
  • Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products in order to ensure that packing specifications are met
  • Maintain an on-hand inventory of packaging supplies and ensure it is sufficient to meet the demand
  • Clean and sanitize packaging rooms and equipment in compliance with SOPs
  • Participate in Inventory Counts, as needed
  • Understand and operate label software and printers
  • Perform all duties according to SOP, GMP and all other established safety standards and company policy
Qualifications
  • Knowledge with GPP and GMP is preferred
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a pharmaceutical or manufacturing packaging environment.
  • Interpersonal skills are required for daily interactions with shop floor personnel
  • Manual functions require good hand / eye co-ordination
  • Position requires standing, lifting and walking throughout the day
Working conditions
  • May be required to work on weekends and during holidays, from time to time
