Header:Are you someone who is physically fit, enjoys delivering excellent customer service, and working with a great team Are you looking for a full time seasonal position for the summer If so, Gordon Food Service could be the place for you!Responsibilities & Qualifications:Summer Student Delivery Helper Position Highlights:Pay: $16.80/hour + $2.00/hour bonus at the end of the summer for safety and attendanceOvertime paid at time and a half after 40 hours/weekShifts: 4-5 days a week, 3-5AM start time, 10-12 hour shiftsContract: Starting ASAP, finishing Labour Day with potential for extension through the fallLocation: Ancaster, ONResponsibilities include:Providing exceptional service to build and maintain quality customer relationshipsManually sorting and unloading food products and hand-wheeling them into the customer locations with the use of ramps and occasionally stairs (approx. 600 - 1000 cases/shift)Performing product delivery verification at the customer location and maintaining customer invoicesFollowing health and safety and safe work proceduresFollow company policies and proceduresQualifications:Must be at least 18 years of age or olderPhysically fit and able to repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry heavy items (up to 90 lbs)Strong communication and customer service skills with English fluencyPrevious manual labour experience is preferredAbility to work in a variety of weather, temperature and road conditionsWorking ConditionsDelivering outdoors in all seasonal weatherMust be able to handle all types of food and beverage products including seafood, beef, pork, produce, wine, nuts, spices, milk, eggs, etc.Gordon Food Service is an equal opportunity employer.Our Commitment:We're a company with integrity at its core.
