The ideal candidate will be punctual with good time management skill; they will be a holder of a Clean Drivers Abstract and possess an up-to-date CVOR (CommercialVehicle Ontario Registration). This is an “on call” position, requiring someone who is flexible and able to report to work in a moment’s notice. The Diver many be required to work nights and weekends and complete overnight shifts.Key Responsibilities

• Deliver products to our customers (dealers) within the distribution territory of Ontario and

Conduct daily vehicle inspections, perform emergency roadside repairs and report anyQuebec) using our company 48ft flatbed trailer

• Safely transport all products which will include Segway Powersports Canada ATVs,

UTVs, and SSVs and parts

• Complete any paperwork required and maintain detailed logs

• Represent Segway Powersports Canada professionally
• Adhere to laws on commercial vehicle operation as per Federal and provincial laws as well as company rules
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection
• Work at night and on weekends
• Maintain an organized travel schedule and Utilize navigation apps to find the most optimal route.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years work experience as a Truck Driver
• Trucking school diploma
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, CB etc)
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
• Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations
• Must possess a Class AZ license
• Able to operate Any truck/tractor trailer combination
• Experience transporting powersport units an asset
• Ability to handle heavy equipment/loads
• Possess an up-to-date CVOR (Commercial Vehicle Ontario Registration
