Job DescriptionAre you ready to take guest service to the next level At Fairmont Banff Springs, we’re seeking a dedicated Fairmont Gold Supervisor to join our elite team. You #39;ll play a crucial role in ensuring our guests experience exceptional service and unforgettable stays in our luxurious “hotel within a hotel.”Starting Rate: $23.67 per hourWe recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $28.08.Job Duties Include:

  • Provide excellence in guest service and act as liaison between the hotel and our guests, always responding to guest requests and concerns in a personal, prompt, and courteous manner with the ability to think “outside the box”
  • Demonstrate a commitment to provide warm, anticipated service to exceed the needs and expectations of our discerning guests by providing a personalized curated guest experience.
  • Must be able to perform all front desk duties including but not limited to accurately post all charges, assist with check in/out procedures, auditing and reporting.
  • Review all Fairmont Gold reservations ensuring accuracy, and that all standards are met.
  • Provide exceptional concierge information to our guests about local and area attractions, restaurants, theatres, special events, tickets, and other available services/excursions
  • Must be available for shift work including weekends, mornings, and evenings.
  • Ensure the arrival and departure experience of all guests is seamless through coordination of our market mix and VIP #39;s
  • Ensure food and beverage standards are adhered to on a daily basis while continually raising the bar of service excellence; assisting Lounge Attendants when needed
  • Empower colleagues to appease any guest service challenges and ensure all guest issues are tracked and followed up on to ensure service recovery
  • Develop and maintain standards for the department, while adhering to Fairmont #39;s core standards
  • Ensure a safe environment for our guests and colleagues by adhering to the hotel #39;s Health and Safety policies
  • Vital part of the hotel #39;s Emergency Procedures
  • Lead by example and sustain an environment of Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, Accountability, Excellence and positive employee relations
  • Other duties as assigned
