CLUB INFORMATIONThe Bay of Quinte Yacht Club is located in the City of Belleville in Victoria Park. The Club caters to membership with interests in sail and power including cruising, sailboat racing, or simply socializing at the Long Reach Bar or at organized events. See www.bqyc.ca for club info.JOB SUMMARYWe are searching for an energetic and hospitality minded individual to join our team and provide efficient and friendly bar service. Typical schedule may be 2-3 shifts per week, plus events. Working hours consist mostly of weekday evenings (3:30-9:30) and Saturday days (1-7).The primary work will involve serving drinks, accurately entering into the P.O.S, managing cash/debit and credit transactions, accurate end of shift cash-out, restocking the Bar and preparing / executing a simple snack menu. Additional responsibilities will include reporting shortages / needed items to the Bar manager, sorting and monitoring empties, and ensuring the Bar, lounge, and patio are kept organized and clean. Getting to know members and guest preferences is paramount. Training will be provided.This role would be ideal for a retired person looking for a few shifts a week. Schedule flexibility is important.
