We have a wide range of exciting roles, some which involve working across more than one of our hospitals, and some which are situated at just one hospital.Position SummaryHelp Desk Support Staff will provide first-level support for system users. They will respond to calls to the help desk to fix or install devices such as computers, monitors, printers, communications equipment or other system peripherals. They will also install new equipment as part of the hospitals’ evergreen replacement program. They will document actions taken to address help desk calls and be responsible for addressing calls and issues within set help desk metrics and for documenting asset location and configurationRequired

  • Community College Diploma (2+ years or accelerated program) in Computer Sciences or Information Systems or a minimum of 2 years’ recent experience as a help desk/desktop support

Note: Technical testing will be administered to validate skill level.Duties
  • Responding to telephone, email inquiries for first and second-level I.T. related issues
  • Create accounts and configure hardware as part of on-boarding process
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems for multi-site locations including but not limited to remote offices and/or remote users
  • Microsoft 365 and Active Directory support and administration
  • Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot printers, computer hardware/software and other I.T equipment
  • Manage I.T assets and coordinate workstation reimaging and evergreen deployments
  • Support mobile phones (Android, Apple)
  • Working knowledge of VOIP/Teams based phone systems and understanding of VPN systems and protocols
  • Solid knowledge of I.T best practices, I.T security procedures
  • Tracking and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to learn and support new software and hardware in a demanding, multi-tasking environment
  • Training users and/or new team members
  • Position requires on-call availability during their week in the rotation
  • Other duties as assigned
