Job Description

Overview:Job Overview:At Noble, we help our customers’ businesses succeed by investing in our most important asset: our teammates!Start a rewarding career at our Belleville Branch as a G Class Driver!The G Class Driver will be responsible for daily delivery duties in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. In addition, the position will require occasional warehouse support duties. The ideal candidate will work well independently, have strong verbal and written communication skills, and knowledge of local driving routes.Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and offload material to customer job sites and shops
  • Responsible for driving safely at all times
  • Responsible for loading and securing vehicle at all times
  • Responsible for carrying proper documentation in truck at all times, i.e. License, Insurance, CVOR, Driver’s Daily Log, Vehicle Inspection Report
  • Pick up customer returns and Purchase Orders at Vendors
  • Unload truck upon return to the office with any incoming freight
  • Responsible for cleanliness of vehicle
  • Execute all other duties required by the position and/or asked by the immediate supervisor
Qualifications:You Must Have:
  • Minimum one (1) year of delivery driving experience, including loading and unloading
  • Excellent time-management, and organizational skills, with a proven ability to adhere to tight deadlines
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills to effectively build a positive relationship with team members and customers
  • Strive to continuously build knowledge and skills
  • Health and safety conscious
  • Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds
  • Valid G Class license with clean driving record/abstract
  • Ability to work overtime when required
Nice to Have:
  • Previous delivery driving experience, including loading and unloading
  • Strong knowledge of local routes
  • Previous experience using Electronic Signature Capture devices
  • Knowledge of Plumbing and HVAC products
