Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent visions systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategically assist Logistic Coordinator with the planning and managing of a global supply chain baseEstablishes, implements, monitors, measures and reports Logistics performance metrics and establishes initiatives for continuous improvementWork in conjunction with Customs Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator to achieve departmental goalsRFQ (develop, negotiate, maintain) all asset based/3 PL transportation providersRegular interaction with Materials department (Customer service/Planners) to ensure supply chain on-time deliveries and production schedules are metResolve transportation damage and loss claimsPlans and identifies the necessary budget requirements for LogisticsMonitor and optimize daily, weekly sweep runs, line hauls, LTL, LCL, Ocean, Air, MRO and expeditesAir charter, hand carry, direct team drive capabilitiesUnderstanding of customs procedures and documents as relates to US/MS/CA/BR/CN/EUAdvanced global project support, working with cross functional teams for tool and parts movementWork with Purchasing group to determine and set packaging requirements to meet standards to maximize truck payload and adhere to incoming warehouse storage requirementsOther duties as required Key Qualifications/RequirementsDiploma or Degree in Logistics or Material ManagementP.
