Job Description

Full-time Position – Immediate OpeningNote: Experience in a medical office/clinic/hospital is essential. Applicants without this experience will not be considered.Duties include:

  • Managing patient referrals, scheduling appointments for consultation/diagnostic imaging, and managing referrals to other healthcare providers
  • Reception: greeting patients, preliminary review of reason for visit, escorting patients to exam rooms
  • Sanitization of exam rooms between patients
  • Organizing correspondence by answering phone calls, responding to voicemails/faxes or any electronic communication to the office
  • Invoicing insurance and medical forms
Performance Requirements:
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and specialized vocabulary as required
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft suites and medical software for scheduling appointments
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical and clinical staff, hospital staff and the public
  • The ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written
  • Strong grammar and spelling
