Job Description

SummaryThe QA Auditor is responsible for performing regular audits of production lines, including finished products and production components. Production functions are performed as needed.Primary Responsibilities· Perform QA Audit checks of finished products and production components on a routine basis· Responsible to ensure that proper quality-related tracking is completed, electronically and manually, to verify conformance with quality and GMP standards· Perform measurements of production components and input measurements electronically· Responsible to adhere with all company rules and safe practices as described in the employee policy and procedures manual· Complete start-up, shut-down sheets, and first-off QA approvals· Recommend improvements to operations, and actively participate in team meetings and or other committees as available· Develop and encourage a mindset of continual improvement, in accordance with the company performance initiatives· Other duties as assignedQuality Management· Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)· Complete all tasks with adherence to the QA system· Report all quality issues to Operations and Quality management· Inspect product and production components according to established methods· Provide input to resolve quality issuesQualifications (Required education/experience/skills/abilities)

  • High school diploma and/or leadership experience
  • Effective communication, mathematical and reading comprehension skills are required
  • Basic computer knowledge (PC, iPad, Excel) to complete audits and data entry
  • Verify, organize and manage electronic records
  • There is no exposure to outside weather conditions. The nature of physical effort while performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, bend and lift boxes of production materials
