Job Description

Reporting to Operations Manager, the Shop Maintenance/Cleaner maintains a clean, safe working environment for employees and customers, by complying with all relevant Health and Safety and environmental policies and procedures. This is a full-time day shift position Monday to Friday.Rush Truck Centres of Canada is a premier provider of quality products and services to commercial equipment users.   • General cleaning of all the office and common areas as directed; sweep, mop, dust, clean windows, sanitize areas.
  • Empty inside and outside trash bins and ensure the shop is clean without any obstructions.
  • Provide parts delivery.
  • General maintenance of the building including such tasks as painting, general repairs, keeping the shop clean.
  • Clear entrances and doorways from snow and ice in the winter.

Basic Qualifications
  • High school education or general education degree (GED).
  • Three months’ experience.
  • Must possess a valid G Class Driver’s license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.
  • Ability to use hand tools.
  • Criminal Record Check
  • Current Driver’s Abstract.
