If you care deeply about the welfare of children and want to work in a dynamic environment, we would like to hear from you.Reporting to the Supervisor, Services, the Volunteer Drive Scheduler, as a member of the Team Administrative Assistant group, is responsible for assigning drives that meet eligibility criteria, to the appropriate volunteer driver, ensuring that all relevant information is accurately communicated. The incumbent also manages other aspects of the volunteer drive program, including compiling and updating statistical data and is also a Car Seat Technician, responsible for being familiar with current safety standards and considerations, assisting with inspection of seats, and installation if necessary. The successful candidate will provide administrative support as required.Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Education, and Skills: · Business Administration Diploma or equivalent two-year diploma from an accredited Community College program;· A minimum of six months of related business administration experience;· Proven computer and keyboarding skills including working knowledge of a variety of software applications;· Proven organizational skills to set and meet priorities and established Ministry and Society requirements and to manage assigned workload;· Knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act and current safety requirements regarding car seats;· Demonstrated ability to work both independently and cooperatively as part of a team;· Demonstrated interpersonal skills to successfully collaborate with agency staff and families as well as community collaterals and the general public.Annual salary: $47,248 - $59,060.
