This role is located in our Blacks Harbour, NB office.Responsibilities:- Lead the vendor invoice processing activities for multiple Cooke North America companies- Support a team of Accounts Payable clerks located in Blacks Harbour and Saint John, NB- Review and solution escalated invoice processing issues- Determine and implement invoice processing improvement initiatives and standardized processes across Cooke companies- Lead the Accounts Payable month-end close process for a group of Cooke companies, ensuring deadlines are metThe ideal candidate will have:- Minimum of 3 years experience in an Accounts Payable role- Excellent Excelamp; system skills- Demonstrated ability to solve problems, manage time efficiently and meet deadlines as required- Dependability with a great work ethic, demonstrated initiative, ownership of issues and an exceptional attitude- Must be self-directed and able to manage competing prioritiesCooke offers full-time year round employment, competitive rates and a competitive benefits package which includes health and dental as well as a company matched pension.The OpportunityThe role description is just one part of the story.
