Our company #39;s success is driven by our dynamic, highly skilled, and innovative management team, supported by dedicated employees who live in coastal communities and contribute to the local area #39;s economy and sense of community.The RoleWe are seeking a Transactional Processing Manager to join our Accounting Shared Services team, reporting to the Corporate Controller - Shared Services. This role is located in our Blacks Harbour, New Brunswick office.Duties and Responsibilities- Lead the day-to-day invoice processing for customers and vendors for the Cooke North America companies.- Manage a team of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable clerks located in Blacks Harbour and Saint John, New Brunswick- Determine and implement process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and standardize processes across Cooke companies.- Lead the month-end close processes for Accounts Receivableamp; Accounts Payable, including invoice processing and vendor reconciliations.- Manage the master data processes required by accounting for vendoramp; customer set up.The ideal candidate will have- Experience efficiently leading a large team responsible for invoice processing.- Experience leading successful process improvement projects, from initiation to implementation. Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement training considered an asset.- Post secondary education in Accounting or Finance.- Excellent Excelamp; systems skills- Demonstrated ability to solve problems, manage time efficiently and meet deadlines as required- Excellent communicator who can effectively influence others and productively resolve various issues- Dependability with a great work ethic, demonstrated initiative, ownership of issues and an exceptional attitude- Must be self-directed and able to manage competing priorities- Ability to travel outside of CanadaSalary commensurate with experience which includes a competitive health and dental benefit package.The OpportunityThe role description is just one part of the story.
