Job Description

Cooke is a global seafood company with operations in North America, Europe, and South America. Our company’s success is driven by our dynamic, highly-skilled and innovative management team, supported by dedicated employees who live in coastal communities and contribute to the local area’s economy and sense of community.The Role:As a result of our robust growth, we are adding a Credit Analyst to our team of professionals. This role will have flexibility to work out of our Black’s Harbour or Saint John offices, reporting to the Credit Manager. The Training for this position will take part in Blacks Harbour, NB.Key Responsibilities:

  • Approving credit applications
  • Collections
  • Generating Management Reports
  • Monitoring Credit limits
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong sense of Initiative
  • Professional Attitude
  • Cross-training within the department (Invoicing, deposits & applying payments)
To be successful in this role you will bring a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience including experience with accounting systems as well as post-secondary education in accounting or administration. You will be an energetic self-starter who works well in a deadline driven environment. High attention to detail and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office are also key requirements.The OpportunityThe role description is just one part of the story.
