Job Description

Job DescriptionAs the Human Resources Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Collecting, managing, and maintaining all HR-related documentation and records.
  • Assisting in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, interviewing candidates, and onboarding new hires.
  • Advising management and employees on HR-related policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Assisting with employee dismissal processes while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Overseeing and supporting the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Managing employee benefits, including enrollments, claims, and updates.
  • Managing Workers #39; Compensation Board (WCB) claims and processes, with a strong understanding of WCB policies and procedures.
  • Creating, updating, and managing company policies to ensure compliance with local regulations and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to support organizational growth and employee engagement.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Performing other HR-related duties as needed.
