Job Description

Job DescriptionCEDA is currently seeking a Knuckle Picker / Winch Truck Operator for our Bonnyville, AB location. Candidates must live in the Bonnyville area.What We Offer:

Key Dutiesamp; Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain picker trucks and/or boom trucks
  • Haul, load, and off-load equipment
  • Understand and obey all provincial and federal highway rules and regulations
  • Ensure equipment meets operation and safety requirements
  • Practice proper legal load securement
  • Take part in all safety meetings
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment in a professional, safe and courteous manner
  • Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports, log book and safety documents
  • Strictly observe and enforce all company and client safety requirements
  • Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
Qualifications:
  • Class 3 License required (abstract must have no more than 5 demerits in last 3 years)
  • Preference given to Class 1
  • Picker Truck Certification required
  • Journeyman Crane certification an asset
  • 2-3 years of experience operating a picker truck
  • Must have a valid H2S Alive and CSO certificates
  • Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Able to travel throughout Alberta (flexibility in schedule is required)
