Job Description

12V Electrical Installer - Heavy Truckamp; Tank ElectricianLooking for 12 Volt Electrical Installer for Heavy Trucks.Responsibilities:

  • Install new 12 Volt electrical assemblies such as truck mounted lights, switches and actuators.
  • Install and fit air actuated assemblies and airlines.
  • Pull wires and airlines and harnesses through chassis and body.
  • Connect wires and harnesses to cab.
  • Connect and disconnect truck batteries and necessary electrical wiring.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and air system faults.
  • Provide cut-outs in the cab and body to facilitate equipment mounting.
  • Read Electrical schematics.
Required Skills:
  • Experience in 12 Volt Electrical systems.
  • Experience and knowledge of small hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, impact drivers, hand drills etc.
  • **Candidates to have possession of their own hand tools**

We manufacture versatile cargo tanks and trailer tankers for the distribution of petroleum products and other bulk related products. We also manufacture tankers for municipal maintenance applications. Our custom tanks range in size from 2000 litre truck-mounted units to 60,000 litre B-train units.
