Job Description

Dependable Truckamp; Tank Limited was founded in 1975 and is, as it began, a family operated business. Our innovative design and engineering concepts allow us to manufacture cargo tanks, trailers and emergency vehicles to our client’s specifications. We manufacture versatile cargo tanks and trailer tankers for the distribution of petroleum products and other bulk related products. We also manufacture tankers for municipal maintenance applications. Our custom tanks range in size from 2000 litre truck-mounted units to 60,000 litre B-train units.We are looking for a Pump Mechanic to join our team and work in fast pace environment!Responsibilities:

  • Repair or maintain the operating condition of Highway Cargo Tank fuel and propane pumps and meters, industrial production or processing machinery, and equipment.
  • Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of fuel and propane pumps and metering equipment.
  • Disassemble equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
  • Observe and test operation of pumping equipment to diagnose leaks, malfunctions etc.
  • Reassemble equipment after competition of inspections, testing or repairs.
  • Clean, lubricate or adjust parts, equipment and valving.
  • Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.
  • Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy or repairs.
  • Adjust pump and meter components to regulate speeds, pressures and temperatures as well as amounts and the flow of product.
Skills:
  • Ideal candidate will have previous experience on the mechanical repair of fuel and/or propane pumps.
  • Must be mechanically inclined.
  • Must have and provide own tool set.
  • Willing to learn, flexible, punctualamp; reliable.
