Job Description

Dependable Truckamp; Tank Limited was founded in 1975 and is, as it began, a family-operated business. Our innovative design and engineering concepts allow us to manufacture cargo tanks, trailers, and emergency vehicles to our client’s specifications. We manufacture versatile cargo tanks and trailer tankers for the distribution of petroleum products and other bulk-related products. We also manufacture tankers for municipal maintenance applications. Our custom tanks range in size from 2000-litre truck-mounted units to 60,000-litre B-train units.We are looking for a Hydraulic Technician to join our team and work in our fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and/or maintain the hydraulic operating systems on highway cargo tankers
  • Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components such as truck-mounted pumps, coolers, hoses, control valves, PTOs, etc.
  • Disassemble equipment to remove parts and make repairs
  • Observe and test the operation of pumping equipment to diagnose leaks, and malfunctions and examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear
  • Reassemble equipment after competition of inspections, testing, or repairs
  • Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, and valving
  • Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify units are in good operation
  • Adjust pump and meter components to regulate speeds, pressures, and temperatures as well as amounts and the flow of product
  • Top-up hydraulic oils and transmission oils
Required Skills:
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Knowledge and experience with air tools and small hand tools
  • Punctual attendance
  • Willing to learn, flexible, punctualamp; reliable
  • Possession of a complete set of hand tools
