Job Description

Welder / Fabricator – MIG AluminumDependable Truckamp; Tank Limited was founded in 1975 and is, as it began, a family-operated business. Our innovative design and engineering concepts allow us to manufacture cargo tanks, trailers, and emergency vehicles to our client’s specifications. We manufacture versatile cargo tanks and trailer tankers for the distribution of petroleum products and other bulk-related products. We also manufacture tankers for municipal maintenance applications. Our custom tanks range in size from 2000-liter truck-mounted units to 60,000-liter B-train units. The position requires FABRICATOR/ WELDER with previous experience working in a custom production and manufacturing environment that has 5-7 years experience.Being a custom fabrication shop producing highway petroleum cargo tankers, we require a candidate to custom fit the fabricated assemblies made to their assigned trucks. Responsibilities:

  • Welding aluminum with (MIGamp; TIG), using tools such as brake presses.
  • Read blueprints and show drawings for custom work.
  • Use manual mill and lathe machines to fabricate parts.
  • Use machine shop tools such as brake presses, drill presses, and shears to cut, bend and tap parts, experience with a manual plasma torch, chop saw, hand drills, and grinders.
Skills:
  • Work from blueprints and raw materials to finished parts that can be welded together into complete products.
  • Candidate must be flexible, reliable, and punctual.
  • Previous experience working on custom pieces and being comfortable working with aluminum and stainless.
Equipment needed:Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, Gloves, Welding Helmet. Work schedule:8:00 am - 5:00 pm. What We Offer:
