  • Location: Brandon (Onsite)
  • Number of Positions: 1
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm
  • Employment Type: Full-time

About The Opportunity:We’re looking for a Service Writer to join our dynamic Service team! Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Writer plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the department through administrative precision, coordination, and exceptional customer service.This is a vital position for keeping our service processes running smoothly—ensuring that customers receive top-tier service, work orders are processed efficiently, and administrative functions are completed with accuracy and care. What You’ll Do (A Day in the Life):
  • Prepare work orders for Service Manager review and approval
  • Support daily administrative functions for field, shop, internal, and warranty work
  • Help improve service operations and customer experience by streamlining workflows
  • Assist with technician dispatch in the absence of the Service Manager
  • Answer incoming calls to the Service Department and assist customers professionally
  • Enter technician time and job stories onto work orders
  • Ensure accurate coding for purchases and expenses; submit for approval and processing
  • Process technician expenses and prepare payroll entries for manager review
  • File and manage warranty claims for OEMs
  • Maintain service department filing systems and records
  • Monitor Work In Progress (WIP) and assist in achieving WIP targets
  • Close work orders upon authorization from the Service Manager/Supervisor
  • Perform additional duties or projects as assigned
What You Bring:
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in time management and task prioritization
  • Comfortable with customer service, both over the phone and in-person
  • Solid understanding of financials and ability to assist with account issues
  • Effective multitasking under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in service, repair shop, dealership, or equipment industry is an asset
