We are committed to quality, sustainability and balance; in our products, our operations and our people.SANITATION TECHNICIAN (PRODUCTION FLOOR)We are currently looking for a Sanitation Technician (Production Floor) for our Brooklyn, Queens Co, facility.Responsibilities:Reporting to the Sanitation Supervisor, your work will include but not be limited to the following:Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Good Production Practices (GPP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP);Completing and verifying cleaning/sanitation records and maintaining a sanitary and organized work environment;Conducting Line Clearance procedures and documentation to clean and sanitize rooms and equipment according to SOPs, work instructions and schedules, using approved cleaning products;Assisting cultivation team to clean and sanitize production area equipment;Maintaining scheduled sanitation of cultivation room fixed equipment (e.g. HVAC);Assisting with regulatory destruction of cannabis;Removing and disposing of waste;Stocking Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and sanitation supplies on the production floor;Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies;Working safely by exercising due diligence and reporting any hazards to the Sanitation-Team Lead;Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.Qualifications/Requirements:Previous custodial or sanitation experience within a production facility is an assetOH&S and WHMISSkills Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50lbs, as well as physical aptitude for bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and standing for extended periods of time;Monitoring and attention to detail and accuracy, including thorough documentation abilities;Health clearance;Adaptability and flexibility;Ability to act independently and as a team member;Ability to prioritize activities and adjust priorities on short notice;Excellent comprehension, communication, and interpersonal skills.Other details:Location: Brooklyn, Queens Co, NS (Required)Compensation: To be determined based on skills and experienceStatus and Hours: Permanent, 40hrs per weekClosing Date: 17th August, 2021Successful applicants must provide satisfactory background and reference checks.Aqualitas welcomes and encourages diversity.
