We made air travel more affordable for Canadians and now were going global.Join us and love where you’re going.The Advisor - Contact Centre Programs is responsible for effectively planning and communicating all announcements, updates, standards and procedures changes across all Contact Centre teams. This role supports the overall alignment of Contact Centre teams and requires collaboration across multiple business units in planning and executing effective communication and organizational change management. The Contact Centre Programs Advisor will support frontline agents and leaders through initiatives and projects to further the overall goals of the business. Experience with employee engagement, change management, and content development for internal communication is required.The ideal candidate has strong technical and creative experience with Microsoft communication tools (ie. SharePoint, Teams, Yammer) and has a passion for creating great content and layout that captures an audiences’ attention. This person should be creative with headlines, captions and storytelling through design; they should be savvy with how images, videos and graphics perform and willing to learn a variety of internal platforms for posting content and measuring how it performs.This individual will exhibit a high standard of excellence, be innovative, enjoy a challenge and be results’ driven.**The successful candidate will fall into the ‘Mobile Home’ work category. **Key deliverables include:

  • Communicate new or updated standards using optimal delivery methods such as Read and Sign, leader briefs, emails, meetings, job aids, SharePoint pages and any other appropriate method required of the business.
  • Provide expert guidance and development of communication strategies with dates, timelines & tactics to ensure alignment across the organization.
  • Work with internal business units and stakeholders to validate information provided and create communication and change management plans that include clear messaging on process and ensure key messages are aligned for all projects or change initiatives.
  • Develop internal communications strategies to support the company’s strategic plan and foster two-way employee communication.
  • Develop, measure and benchmark the effectiveness of various communications vehicles and strategies.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in public relations, change management, communications, journalism, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum three years of experience in a communications role in a corporate environment.
  • Excellent writing skills with a demonstrated ability to write quickly and succinctly, often within tight timelines.
  • Self-motivated and committed to working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with experience coordinating with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills (e.g. planning and coordinating) achieved through organization and flexibility under minimal supervision
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 products, including Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent writing skills with a demonstrated ability to write quickly and succinctly, often within tight timelines.
  • Experience with technical writing and HTML to support WestJet’s Information Network (WIN) is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Contact Centre operations and processes is an asset.
  • Bilingualism is considered an asset.
