And get differentiated products to market quickly with reduced risk.Physical Design Implementation EngineerThis is a 4 month Defined Term Employment position. We’re looking for a Physical Design Implementation Engineer to join the team.In this role you will lead and perform the Physical Design activity to implement the digital hard macros in Synopsys DDR PHYs. Tasks will include but not be limited to, synthesis, running the P&R flow using Synopsys tools, performing timing closure, constraints analysis, static and dynamic IR drop analysis, power estimation, electromigration checks and other physical verification tasks such as DRC/LVS/ERC. Additional tasks will include creation of views necessary for SOC integration of the hard macros and running all required QA checks before release of these views. You will be expected to work independently to find solutions to complex design implementation issues and to analyze and suggest improvements to the design methodology and design flow.Key QualificationsRequires a degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) and 8+ years industry working experiencePhysical Design of SOCs or IPs is valuableBring your previous experience working with P&R tools (experience with Synopsys P&R tools would be most valuable)Have a strong foundation working with constraints and timing signoff using PTSIPrevious experience running Physical Verification along with implementing or supporting Mixed-Signal IP is an assetYou will be using your excellent communication skills to problem solve with both internal and external customersInclusion and Diversity are important to us.
