Job Description

Euro X Transport has been operating in Calgary for 22 years and specializes in direct store distribution of specialty frozen desserts and specialty food products imported from Italy. Our core group of clients are in Food Service, Hospitality, Grocery, C-Store and cafes. We are in search of a entrepreneurial minded individual who really enjoys engaging with our current customers while thriving on opening new doors and interacting with a wide range of customer groups. The duties include but are not limited to the following;-Responsible for ‘cold calling’ on new customers in all segments of the market in the Alberta territory, Calgary and surrounding area to start for the first 6 months- Work closely with owner to define the top business development priorities objectives- Create customer-focused programs to achieve desired sales results in Restaurant, Grocery/Retail channels and partner distributors- Maintain call/sales logs and submit to owner on a bi-weekly basis- Achieve weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual KPI’s set by management- Work in conjunction with warehouse and delivery manager when onboarding new customers, equipment delivery and pickups, and any emergency deliveries- Retain current customer accounts and call on them monthly to see how things are going or offer new products or services- Always have your ‘Entrepreneurial Hat’ on to find new avenues of revenue. Newmarketing ideas, collaborations with new and old customers, promotions, events at Amato Gelato Café- Maintain adequate inventory levels at grocery customers by making frequent stops to observe current inventory and write up re-orders- Identify best sales practices in the field. Ie; Is a customer worthy of receiving free equipment placed at their location Not loading up retail customers with too much product as to fill their back rooms or freezers, typically in grocery channels or customers with our freezers. Not over sampling to customers. Maintaining current delivery routes when setting up new customers and customers maintaining minimums for delivery- Participation in sampling events at grocery, trade shows etc..- Liaise with marketing to create sales assets to be used in business development efforts- Use provided sales materials and price lists to obtain and educate new potential customersAppicants should have at least 2 years of food service/grocery sales experience but limited to.Thank youJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per yearBenefits:
