We take pride in our reputation for delivering outstanding results and exceeding client expectations.YOUR SCHEDULEWhen you join our heating and cooling team in this estimating role, you can expect to work 7 am - 4 pm, Monday through Friday.YOUR DAY AS A COMMERCIAL HVAC ESTIMATORYour day as a Commercial HVAC Estimator with our mechanical company kicks off with reviewing project blueprints and specifications, diving into the details to fully understand each project #39;s unique HVAC requirements. With a clear vision of the scope, you begin calculating material, labor, and equipment costs to build precise estimates. Throughout the day, you #39;re in close contact with vendors and suppliers, securing competitive pricing to keep your proposals sharp and within budget. You prepare detailed, competitive quotes that meet all project specifications and building codes, ensuring clients receive top-quality, compliant HVAC solutions. A quick site visit in the afternoon allows you to assess specific project needs firsthand, making your estimates even more accurate. You are responsible for tendering projects, performing detailed take-offs, and building accurate estimates to support competitive bidding and project success. Every day, you drive projects forward with precision, expertise, and a keen eye on quality.REQUIREMENTS FOR OUR COMMERCIAL HVAC ESTIMATOR

• Sheet Metal Journeyman certificate with experience with commercial projects
• 2+ years of experience in HVAC estimating or a related field (preferably in the commercial field)
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools (familiarity and experience with Quote Soft is preferred)
• Solid knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation methods
• Strong understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards (particularly for the Calgary and Alberta region)
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and autonomously, and manage multiple estimates and projects simultaneously
• Valid driver #39;s licenseamp; reliable transportation
