EVENTS & COMMUNICATIONS MANAGERKarbon-X Project Inc. is a subsidiary of Karbon-X Corp (OTC: KARX), a publicly traded tech-based carbon offset marketing company. We endeavor to achieve this, by providing a platform for people and businesses to offset a portion of their carbon footprint through our mobile app. In turn, we invest in green projects that reduce, remove, or prevent greenhouse gasses from being emitted into the atmosphere. We are committed to providing high quality carbon offsets to our customers, but also know the importance of a great user experience and fun events.To grow our brand and develop meaningful events, we need a dedicated Events & Communications Manager to join our team in April of 2023.The Karbon-X Events & Communications Manager plays a key role in telling the Karbon-X story to a broad range of audiences, including app users, businesses, various media outlets and prospective project partners. You’ll be a vital member of the team, responsible for the overall strategy and execution of social media programs & campaigns across various channels, as well as planning Karbon-X Events.As the Karbon-X Events & Communications Manager you’ll help to develop and establish the Karbon-X brand and enjoy a welcoming, open, transparent, curious, collaborative, challenging, results-driven, and fun work environment!How you will make an impact:Digital Advertising:

  • Create, source, and manage engaging content across various media, including copy, graphics, video, and photography.
  • Build social media campaigns geared towards our audiences that educate and engage in a meaningful way.
  • Grow the Karbon-X social media presence across social media channels.
  • Partner across the organization to develop integrated marketing campaigns to ensure we capture and share what makes Karbon-X special.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on performance metrics and adjust strategies to achieve (Key Performance Indicators) KPIs.
  • Stay up-to-date and innovate social media campaigns and best practices as new trends in social media and digital advertising emerge.
  • Develop and implement engaging ad copy and creative assets for ad campaigns.
  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers to create and promote content.
  • Work with media contacts & partners to develop mutually beneficial campaigns and collaborations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as project managers, and executive leadership, to ensure effective and consistent messaging.
  • Draft, distribute and maximize the reach of press releases, announcements, and other promotional content.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to clearly establish conversion rates and identify improvement opportunities.
Event Planning:
  • Plan Karbon-X branded environmental clean-up events.
  • Manage event logistics and coordinate set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems and other details for special events.
  • Develop and implement registration systems.
  • Develop and monitor risk management & emergency plans.
  • Plan and attend trade-shows.
What you’ll bring to the team:
  • 3+ years of experience building and managing social media accounts for organizations
  • Demonstrated experience driving engagement among social media channels and growing followers
  • Expert level skills using WordPress, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite and implementing Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  • Expertise in digital content creation, including copywriting, engaging graphic visuals
  • Demonstrated event planning and implementation experience.
  • Ability to tell a story, and ensure consistent brand messaging throughout all channels
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze data to inform marketing decisions that drive results
  • Willingness to occasionally travel internationally
  • Enthusiastic team attitude, with the ability to inspire others
