Job Description

Good Bread is a new and exciting Artisan Bread bakery supplying both wholesale and retail breads, pastries and desserts. Were seeking a well-rounded, energetic, growth-minded experienced Bread Baker with a minimum of 3 years experience to join our team!At Good Bread, we pride ourselves on using the best ingredients to create from scratch the best products and provide the best service for our customers. Come join us and share in this passion.As a Bread Baker at Good Bread, you will;

  • Meet daily production requirements, to meet the needs of the deadlines
  • Possess experience and commitment to follow Good Bread’s system for bread baking (scaling, mixing, dividing, proofing, shaping, scoring and baking)
  • Possess the ability to follow a production schedule and to prioritize tasks
  • Properly and safely use all equipment (Dividers, Mixers, Oven, etc.)
  • Clean, restock and maintain your area and equipment
  • Complete mise en place so each shift is set up for success
To join our team, you’ll need:
  • The ability to work shift work, early mornings & nights
  • Proven ability of producing a consistent product while meeting time deadlines
  • Possess excellent organization and time management skills (detail oriented, goal oriented, and follow through)
  • Ability to self-manage and problem solve
  • Ability to complete recipe calculations
We’re especially looking for a candidate who has:
  • Culinary education and/or on the job training
  • Pastry experience an asset
  • Experience baking large volume from scratch artisan bread
