If the idea of being the “Mayor of Fitness” in the community appeals to you, then read on....Key responsibilities and expectations: - Excellent leadership and management skills to build and develop an inspiring atmosphere for members and the team- Maintaining flexibility to work mornings, days, evenings, and weekends as business needs dictate- Recruitment, in-studio training, development, and management of all team members- Has the mindset and focus to take the studio to the next level and beyond- Thrives on the excitement of selling and the opportunity to grow the membership; to change as many lives as possible for the better, inside and out. You should be a person who loves seeing people transform- Executes marketing consistently across various media and venues (social media, print, gift auctions, events, business to business relationships, etc.) to not only grow the membership base but also to seed opportunities and market all ancillary products and services regularly- Sincerely loves to develop staff to not only raise their ability to teach but also their ability to market, sell and close- Believes in continuous improvement- Has a desire to dominate the competition by providing the best possible fitness experience and highest level of customer service to make the studio the local fitness destination place to be- Finds satisfaction and excitement in networking with other managers, owners and studios to share and gain knowledge through free exchange of ideas, best practices, risk management and ideas to capitalize upon opportunities- Is fully supportive of all members — the achievers and especially those who struggle and need extra support and motivation.- Is physically active and willing to teach class regularly- Demands a clean, sanitary studio and pitches in to keep it that way- Is comfortable and open to consistently learning new things- Effectively manages by setting expectations, having regular candid employee reviews, recognizing performance above expectations and applying consequences for poor performance (you must not be afraid to execute disciplinary processes as needed)- Sets a role model example for staff, clients, business to business, and neighboring businesses- Is capable of managing a budget and using Excel for budgetary and data management purposesNot a kickboxer We will train you!
