Enverus is the right company at the right time.As head of our Power & Renewables Intelligence team, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of financial analysts, engineers, economists, data scientists, developers, and others in producing research for institutional investors and corporate clients. Collectively, you will work to both enhance our technology platform and leverage it to interact directly with clients and help answer some of the hardest questions facing industry and investors today.Performance ObjectivesLead a team of analysts with expertise in power markets, renewable technologies and capital markets to create need-to-have intelligence reports for operators and investors deploying capital in the power and renewables spaceLeverage relationships with key customer segments, including utilities, power generators, renewable companies, equity and credit investors and others to identify critical workflows and value-add datasets, analytics and intelligenceSource and capture esoteric, technical data that support critical business decisions in power and renewables and showcase the business value of that information in intelligence research reportsPartner with developers, data scientists and product owners to incorporate key datasets in the Enverus Prism™ platform and enhance the analytics engine to replicate workflows at scaleCollaborate with marketing and sales to develop product messaging and establish the value proposition of access to Power & Renewables Intelligence as well as the platforms that support the analysisLead prospect meetings and marketing events that introduce new relationships to the suite of Enverus Power & Renewable solutionsAct as an extension of customer research teams and offer expert opinion that supports capital deployment decisions in power and renewable assets and public securitiesCompetitive Candidate ProfileExperience working in power or renewable industries and leveraging intelligence reports and proprietary or third-party technology platforms to drive business decisionsA creative and innovative visionary with an understanding of shortcomings with existing solutions and inefficient workarounds that can inform Enverus Power & Renewable intelligence reports and product developmentExpert understanding and the ability to communicate investment opportunities in traditional thermal and renewable generation technologies (coal, gas, nuclear, solar, wind, hydro, …), emerging technologies (hydrogen electrolysers and fuel cells, lithium storage, DCFC, micro-inverters, CCUS, …) and power markets (ISOs, RTOs, utilities, transmission, …) to investors and operatorsExperience building or leading an interdisciplinary team of subject matter experts with a collaborative approach and the ability to manage through influenceProven thought leadership in the power & renewables space with an entrepreneurial driveExperience in large data sets, building financial economic models and data visualizationsProven problem-solving skills with an ability to analyze and concisely articulate complex ideas through writing and verbal presentationsSelf motivated with a deep understanding of the technologies and companies driving the energy transition and a strong desire to become the leading expert in this fieldOutstanding record of academic achievement and demonstrated aptitude for analyticsBachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering/Finance/Economics, or related field8+ years of relevant work experienceProfessional designation (CFA, MBA, P.Eng.)Has a can-do attitude along with a deep sense of curiosityExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, self-motivated with a strong work ethicQuick Apply
