We made air travel more affordable for Canadians and now were going global.Join us and love where you’re going.Role Description:The objective of the role is to support and optimize the efficiencies within Inflight focusing on data metrics. The Analyst reports to the Senior Manager, Inflight Operations and provides support to the Inflight Bases, Inflight Experience and Cabin Provisioning and when required, the VP of Inflight to provide data for strategic planning and continuous improvement.Responsibilities:

• Provide day to day operational support through analysis in maintaining application and support documentation
• Provide subject matter expertise, support, and education to business initiatives through continuous improvement
• Develop and/or maintain Inflight related programs such as Attendance Support Program, Inflight budgetary reporting, operational reporting, etc...
• Investigating Inflight controllable delays and corrective action measures
• Knowledge of key non-regulatory business processes for day-to-day operations for Cabin Personnel to develop reference documentation
• Develop and/or maintain Inflight related Quality Assurance programs as required
• Proactively communicate with the team on upcoming changes and/or impacts based on trends
• Participate in the analysis of business opportunities and contribute to recommendations for system or process solutions and proposed strategies for optimization
• Be an active participant in collaborative problem solving, planning, and prioritization discussions
• Contribute ideas towards other team member’s initiatives and bring own initiatives forward for input and discussion with the team
• Support the Company Reporting System including reviewing and acknowledging concerns
• Performing other duties as assigned or required that support the Inflight Leadership Team

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years related work experience; experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• 2-3 years in an operational or analytical role
• Related experience in business analysis, project management, information technology, or operations management is considered an asset
• Obtain/maintain qualifications as a Cabin Crew Member and fly monthly or when operationally required
• Strong understanding of MS Office applications; proficient in Excel and Power BI
• Prepare data and present as necessary to continuously improve the business
• Demonstrated technical skills; aptitude for learning new applications and applying systems knowledge to real world business scenarios
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Investigative mindset; experience troubleshooting and problem solving
• Highly self-motivated and able to operate with independence and minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate technical issues to a business audience (and vice versa) in a manner that can be understood by the audience
• Previous SharePoint experience an asset

• Knowledge of Sabre crew applications an asset

• College diploma/technical school certificate or equivalent is an asset
