As a result our people get to work on some of the most exciting projects in the world.Who are youYou are a Quantity Surveyor/Project Controls Lead with field experience and a minimum of 10 years experience in a similar role.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Calgary-based Lead Quantity Surveyor to join our team supporting projects in Alberta and British Columbia.Reporting to the Director, Natural Resources, the Lead Quantity Surveyor (LQS) will be responsible to promote and implement Turner & Townsend best practices around progress verification, quantity measurement, productivity analysis, earned value management, analytics, and change management. This position will require a strong grasp of project controls, construction, and contracting matched with an aptitude for working with construction software.The successful candidate must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. Experience in preparing earned value reporting, estimating, quantity take-off and field validations in industrial construction projects. The candidate must have a proven track record of working on large scale, complex industrial projects with LNG and mining experience being a plus to assist in covering construction activities with past experience in Lump Sum and Unit Rate types of contracts.
