We are looking for a highly motivated and driven Manager of Business Intelligence to join our rapidly growing team. To ensure success as an Intelligence Analyst, you should possess excellent communication, data analytics, and have a self-motivated disposition. Ultimately, an outstanding Analyst will produce high-quality work with limited supervision.Goals:The Manager of Business Intelligence is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing Surex’s business performance. They will lead the daily, weekly, and monthly reports for the leadership teams, along with analyzing and understanding the reports, and making key recommendations to better enhance our direct marketing performance. They will work closely with our senior leadership team to build reports to uncover new insights and opportunities to help the business grow and be more efficient. The successful candidate is an insights and analytics expert who has a background in business insights, financial analysis, and organizational performance tracking. They are passionate about data and gleaning information from it that will give us an upper hand against our competitors. The successful candidate is a self-starter — someone who can think critically, form hypotheses, and is willing to hunt through the data to either prove or debunk their idea. This critical role is responsible for helping businesses leverage data and identify opportunities for improvement, spot trends, as well as recognize potential issues and offer solutions. Their work is aimed towards improving efficiency, increasing productivity and driving profits for the business.Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide accurate reports, dashboards, and insights to Business Leaders to help make critical

business decisions and look for areas of improvement.

• Be the “Voice of Data” and provide constructive feedback on new and existing

projects/processes to ensure that results are measurable and that benchmarks are hit.

• Support all areas of the business through data insights and general problem-solving.
• Become a subject matter expert in Surex’s business - you can’t offer insight without knowing the

business.Qualifications & Skills:

• Expert knowledge of Tableau or other Business Intelligence software
• Expert knowledge of Econometrics
• Strong knowledge of Excel, SQL, and Google Analytics.Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse and Data Lake.
• Proficiency with ETL
• Experience with Apache Spark
• Experience with Python and Pandas.
• Proficient in transforming high level business requirements into measurable KPIs and reports.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work autonomously without much guidance.
• Comfortable making decisions based on data.
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguities.
• Ability to break down complex issues into manageable pieces and then work with various teams to address each piece.
