In this role, you will build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.A Day in the Life:

  • Develop network technology solutions, taking into account business and technical requirements, sizing, existing infrastructure, data protection, security requirements and governance and recovery objectives to ensure solutions resolve clients’ requirements and challenges
  • Design and/or implement standard or custom technical solutions
  • Participate in operational escalations to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replace defective components when necessary
  • Participate in implementation of network and system security measures to protect data, software, and hardware
  • Create relevant documentation as required
  • Participate in gathering data pertaining to customer needs, and use the information to identify, predict, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements
  • Participate in recommending changes to improve systems and network configurations in client environments, and determine hardware or software requirements
What You Bring:
  • 3+ years of experience in infrastructure operations management and projects, with an emphasis on Network technologies
  • Experience with networking and security
  • Ability to provide ongoing support, maintenance, and training on the implemented systems
  • Ability to perform network assessments and design recommendations
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve network issues
  • Understanding of:
    • > Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Palo Alto
    • > TCP/IP, IPSEC Site to Site VPN, BGP, OSPF, STP, SNMP, SIP
    • > Cisco Routing/switching (IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS)
    • > WAN technologies MPLS, VSAT, LTE/cellular, etc.
    • > Cisco WiFi (Catalyst 9800), Ekahau
    • > Monitoring/management tools (Solarwinds, Live Action, Cisco DNAC)
    • > MS Teams (Direct route, Operator Connect, Polycom endpoints/management)
    • > Microsoft Azure (Azure Networking/Cloud technologies)
    • > Software-defined Networking (SDN)
    • > Wireless design and configuration
    • > Network monitoring solutions
