Canadian Practices customize global offerings to the Canadian market and provide feedback to continuously improve the offering portfolio in Canada. Kyndryl Canada Practices support Sales, Solution and Delivery organizations and assist in demand generation, growth and engage in key deals and customer interactions to provide technical expertise to close deals.The PL assist in the creation of world class solutions using a combination of Kyndryl standard and custom offerings and they help orchestrate the development of complex, multiple year, custom solutions, and associated cost cases, all with the goal to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services and/or solutions which meet client business and technical requirements. Their leadership provides the foundation of the Kyndryl solution that influences our clients and helps close the deal.The PL represents a Network Services offering portfolio that addresses a client’s project requirements and desired solution from service offering selection to project delivery and is responsible for preparing and delivering robust client oral presentations that reflect our competitiveness and value of the Network Services portfolio.The PL should also have deep expertise in the following domains:

Role Description
  • Execute Kyndryl’s Global Practice strategy in Canada, in support of Canada’s strategy
  • Represent Global Practice in Canada’s industry associations, and to technical analysts and high-profile customers
  • Support opportunity progression and growth in Canada; engaging in key deals to provide deep technical expertise
  • Monitor success, issues, and gaps of service capability/offering portfolio in Canada
  • Responsible for the development of the Kyndryl Canada Network Services local offerings
  • Responsible for building and managing local Practice specific partnerships to support growth
  • Assisting and working closely with Sales and Account teams to drive new business for Kyndryl Canada
  • Understand and explains the technical solution, risks, and reasoning for costs
  • Builds relationships with client technology leaders to demonstrate the benefits of Kyndryl technology and services
  • Develops best practice and knowledge sharing techniques using blogposts, whitepapers, prototypes, proof of concepts, workshops, demos, and breakout sessions
  • Supports Sales’ team pursuits and opportunities to help drive growth
  • Maintains a technology edge by continuing to grow technology acumen through continuous research and learning of future trends
  • Develop market-leading capabilities and drive the skills and talent strategy for the Kyndryl Network Practice population.
  • Define Skills & Talent Strategy that includes definition of job role and specialties, training/learning programs and investments, and sourcing strategy of skills
  • Works closely with Sales and Account teams selling directly to our clients and function as the technical interface for that business pursuit
  • Actively participates in the client proposal / responses and contract negotiation
  • Mitigates business risk for Kyndryl
  • Builds relationships with client technology leaders to demonstrate the benefits of Kyndryl technology and services
  • Own Sourcing strategy, Labor Cost & Utilization Model for your Practice
  • Own Practice Methodology, including automation, standards, asset reuse.
Communication / Negotiation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities (and experience)
  • Empathic listener with excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Be the lead client technical interface for the Network Services solution during client meetings, presentations, etc.
  • Gain the clients confidence in Kyndryl technical and delivery capabilities by effectively utilizing and guiding the Practice Network pre-sales technical team
  • Communicate the sales and solution strategy to the Practice Network pre-sales technical
  • Conducts knowledge sharing or training sessions on Kyndryl capabilities
  • Ensure all appropriate Kyndryl and client information, current and historical, relating to the technical solution is included in the required Kyndryl databases
  • Interface directly with Sales and Delivery Executive management
  • Supports Sales to consistently deploy 70-80% standard offerings/service capabilities
  • Responsible for adopting service capabilities/offerings to country and Customer Unit specific needs where needed
  • Supports Kyndryl Canada in deployment of automation and continuous improvement of service capabilities/offerings in country
  • Conducts knowledge sharing or training sessions on Kyndryl capabilities
Problem Solving
  • Use creative break through thinking in dealing with complex situations
  • Resolve and represent complex and difficult technical and commercial issues and customer requirements to Executives throughout Kyndryl
  • Utilise refined techniques for identifying, eliminating, or mitigating solution, transition, and business risk
  • As appropriate, challenge the validity of given procedures and processes with a view toward enhancement or improvement
  • Analyse information and situations and implement actions, independently and / or through the management team, to ensure transition objectives are met
  • Fix or escalate anything that stands in the way of winning
Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseQualifications (must have/required)
  • 10+ years’ experience working with large scale enterprise-wide network solutions, solution design, network architecture.
  • 5+ years’ experience with Strategic Planning and execution, with proven results.
  • 5+ years’ experience with business development
  • Demonstrated experience with project management
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple initiatives, and rapidly changing priorities.
  • Excellent customer relationship and customer presentation skills.
  • Network Infrastructure and cloud pre-sales experience, skillset to establish trust with clients and ability to influence key decision makers in the sales cycle.
  • Proven experience presenting to C level executives.
  • Current or previous proven experience and hands-on as a successful technical and business development leader
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership, communication, coaching, analysis, troubleshooting, and problem solving
  • Experienced, persuasive, and effective presenter, both written and verbal
  • Proven and demonstrative communication, negotiation skills.
Required Technical Skills
  • Must be proficient with, and have proven experience designing complex network solutions involving:
    • Cloud (Azure, AWS, Google, IBM Cloud)
    • Network security, security trends
    • VMware - NSX, vSphere
    • Core Network - routing, switching, firewalls, next-gen firewalls, load balancers
      • Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.
    • Voice/IP Telephony
    • Wireless
    • Wide area networking, SDWAN
    • SDN/SDA
    • Managed SD-WAN, Managed SD-DC
    • Managed Network Offerings (Enterprise WAN, Enterprise Voice, Public/Private Clouds, Campus and Local Area Networks
    • CNICC
    • LEO Technology
    • Managed UCaaS
  • Proven ability/experience with Solution Design and Network Architecture
  • Current CCIE certified (minimum)
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent relevant industry experience
  • Applicable industry certifications
  • VMware or Red Hat certifications
  • Bilingual in both French and English
